Agreed but we ain't gonna see Rockbox coming on the Fiio M3 soon imo and Fiio offered a little customisation option with X3, just hoping we can do it on the M3 too. It seems I dreamed a little bit on that part :) .

I'll get a Fiio M3 on an informal lending. Can we customize the theme of the M3 like the Fiio X3? Mainly, I'll look for switch foreground and background colors (white on black instead of black on white) and put a higher size font.

I opened the Studio V 3rd. It was the battery who had swell. Users be carefull if you have the same kind of trouble with your devices. Don't put it in charge if it's the case. Seriously.

It is no burning for a DAP, only for your brain. No electrolitic caps and so on.   For my later question, a friend on a french forum told that he had the same issue. It may be the motherboard moving with time and the screw may need some fixing. Will see this later.

The Alpha Pads totally fit the DT-150. You need a little bit of strengh, it's all. Here is the picture :)   #Pictureporn

Yep. HD600 and DT-150 are both more than good heaphones and complete each other, in my point of view. You don't need to go in the tube/otl/dark side to have coo... pleasure and good quality with both headphones.

Not a helping answer but personnally, I liked a lot the DT-150 and the HD600 with the Objective2.

Throw the two you have and buy the two others? Almost serious, haven't try the Sony yet.

A little bit maybe, less direct impact maybe, a little more smooth but the main advantage is the better spatialisation coming with those little changes (direct impact, smoother, distant sound). Of course, it's all minor change and don't change a lot the sound of the Beyer if it's the first time...

I didn't follow the last posts on the topic but talking about the DT-150, I use mine with... Alpha Pads from Mr Speaker. You have to put a little strenght to make it fit but after it works perfectly.   The pads are angled so it angles the drivers too.

My guess : A dual ES9018K2M and a balanced amp with a balanced output. Just worring about the kind of output it will be : 2,5mm TRRS A&K style, 3,5mm TRRS Hifiman style, Kobicon or the same that the PB-2 amp by Ibasso? Hope for Kobicon.
