Been waiting for over a year and finally new firmware to add album art to the mf02s great sounding player under the radar

Thanks no need to right now it magically came back to life, love this players sound I just hope they are not finished with the updates and are planning to revamp the UI which will include art.

can you tell me how you managed to get the back of the unit off,my player refuses to switch on cheers

maybe I didnt give it enough time to search for a suitable channel. But it works perfectly well with the split ssid in my home I will test when I am out and about.

It is on the latest firmware the dropouts were nothing to do with bandwidth AK connect was disabled when I wasnt even playing music it has very poor wifi implementation

I just bought the alpha upgraded the firmware but was having dropouts all the time,I went into my vodaphone router and split the ssid channels 2.4 and 5ghz and now it is stable,but really this device should have came with both.

Just picked up the Alpha the other day,the most I have spent on a dap in quite a few years first impressions were good I love the brick type daps and it looks like my old dx100 from a distance but c,mon only 2.4ghz wifi the same as the dx100 using wifi on a dual band router is impossible unless...

The player wont turn on what use is the latest firmware, I need to know if there is a reset procedure or if and how I can force the case open.

I think you will enjoy the MFO2s the UI needs improving but the SQ is best in its class and I prefere it to the AK SR15 and Ibasso DX160

Downloaded latest firmware and Bluetooth receiver and usb dac working and sounding great,so can listen to Tidal and spotify with aptx hd ,still cannot connect as to flash memory, hopefully the bugs will be ironed out and improvements to the ui as sq is excellent and build quality on par with AK...

cheers yes I always tend to use older apk and only load a couple of apps. just tested amazon hd on the way to work(about 1 hour) and it played exceptionally well with no crashes using my phone as a hotspot so all dependent on wifi strength.

Picked up a mint AK100 for £115, ive had one before but couldnt resist the price, it is a beautiful jewel of a dap and is a wonderful partner for my cypher labs algorhythm picollo amp,ive also been messing about and utilising the optical input(not many daps have this) and can play qobuz and tidal.
