Hello all. I have 2 questions: 1. How can I know if the battery is fully charged? It just keeps on blinking blue. 2. Also, is there any sound difference on the firmware update, is it really necessary? I bought it used and I can't update it as I'm on Mac.

But the 2018 Pro doesn’t have a headphone jack. Maybe you were referring to the 2017 Pro?

Reviving the thread, is there someone who has personally tried both the ipad 2018 and the Pro? I'm really surprise with how good the sq is on the 2018, but there was another thread about how good the pro sound, can anyonr confirm if they have the same dac and if they sound the same?

Can anyone confirm if the regular Ipad 2018 has the same dac, or sounds about the same as the 2017 pro? I'm so impressed with the 2018 iPad's sound with my dt1770 pro that I'd probably stick to the ipad for portable audio, then desktop for serious listening.

I'm interested in ledzep's comparison as well. I haven't seen any glowing reviews of brainwavs sheepskin in the DT1770 yet, most of them has a warning that there is a trade off... So I might get the hybrid instead, even If I really want the dekoni because I love the bass from leather pads. But...

That is very helpful. Thanks a ton. I think I'm sold on the sheepskins, as I also love good quality bass (which seems to be muted on the stock velour) though I'll be getting the brainwavz because local shops have them and cheaper too. I just hope that it's as good as the dekoni.

How is the sound of the hybrid pads compared to the stock pleather? Have you also tried the sheepskin brainwavz? Would really appreciate the reply since I've been looking for replacement pads since my pleather got teared.
