Excellent, can't wait for the release!!! One question: will it have an ( relatively ) easy replaceable battery? ( or it will be soldered to the board... ) Best regards.- ghardashyan

[Review] Brainwavz HM5, A New Neutral Champ
I owned 2 HM5's and both of them were struggling from channel imbalance. First one had bass problem on left channel, I returned it back, they RMA'ed it and I got a new one. The new one had high-mid and treble problem, again on left channel. BTW same problems ( both left and right channels ) with...- ghardashyan

BLIND TEST: Lossless vs. MP3 320
3 seconds are enough as well. :) Do you agree with me? Sure. I just posted the equipment I use and mentioned the mode of the DAC. The resolution was enough for me. ( if you believe me :))) ). BTW I just tried to pass the test with my Brainwavz HM5's - it's impossible... That's why I...- ghardashyan

BLIND TEST: Lossless vs. MP3 320
I agree with mentioned above. Same do state I. Have you noticed the difference between dates of original post of mine and of the next 2 posts ( where I show the logs ). What's wrong with the time in the logs? I used my Brainwavz B2 IEM's ( which are very analytical and have decent extension...- ghardashyan

[Review] Brainwavz HM5, A New Neutral Champ
My HM3's ( which are 2 times cheaper and are from same OEM as FA004 ) have much more better soundstage/ instrument separation. Even treble isn't so much recessed. The bad thing that ruins everything is that the treble isn't sharp/ crisp/ natural etc. It is present but it sounds very very cheap...- ghardashyan

[Review] Brainwavz HM5, A New Neutral Champ
The treble is OK in terms of reality/ clarity but for me it is recessed over base and midrange ( maybe because I am analytical listener ). About the soundstage: I don't know how to describe that, something is wrong there.- ghardashyan

[Review] Brainwavz HM5, A New Neutral Champ
HI, I own HM5's and I'm satisfied with SQ of them ( though I have imbalance issue over 5 - 7 kHz region ). I want to upgrade these headphones, I'm looking to HiFiMAN headphone line. Could you please help me: is HE300 or HE400 a good upgrade over HM5? If no: what can you suggest? In HM5's the...- ghardashyan

Quote: My RB'ed iPod 3G ( ~7G ) occasionally freezes even when I connect it MENU button pressed ( so no hard drive is activated ). So I use fallback image to transfer files: it works flawlessly. Ipod classic - rockbox - its happening.
Tried the last build: the problem appeared only once: the iPod was keeping spinning the disk until first reboot ( I waited 3-4 minutes, it was properly playing a track, showing no disk operation but spinning ). However reboot fixed this ( now it takes 20 second to stop disk spinning as usual )...- ghardashyan
