Shure SRH-840 vs Audio Technica Ath-m50
Quote: i haven't tried the Krk.. so honestly, i can't give any opinion between the 2.. but if you want a much cheaper can w/c has good isolation you can go for a lower shure, w/c is the srh440..- BassBoy04

Shure SRH-840 vs Audio Technica Ath-m50
Quote: it depends, what genre will you be using the cans for?.. are you after its portability?.. remember that the shure has a detachable cable wherein the m50 doesn't.. you're looking on 2 different cans with different sound sig ;)- BassBoy04

i have the e11 being used on my SRH440 and XB500.. but for me the bass is not enough (i know a lot of you guys will be reacting) ;D but i want to have more and more and more bass! i was having my options between an e17 and a cmoybb, but as i saw this thread.. where "i think" the e11 won...- BassBoy04

ath-m50 vs srh440 vs srh840
ATH M50: Boomy Bass (has thicker vocals compared to SRH 440) SRH 440: Musical SRH 840: i haven't tried this cans but according to some reviews between them and the 440's. 440's are worth the price ;) i've got an SRH 440 w/ SRH 840 pads ;D- BassBoy04

Do I need an EQ or an Amp for my Sony XB 500s?
i'm currently using an XB500 UltraMod and i'm using ProCo cables with it.. connected to an E11 and to my iPod 6G Classic.. it has a Boomy & Punchy bass.. great for RNB (bass boost), Dubstep and/or the like ;)- BassBoy04
