Is there any audible difference between a 1/4 inch plug and a 1/8 inch plug? If there isn't a difference, why don't they make the 1/8 inch standard.

I use the headphones with my amp. They seem to distort very easily when I turn them up. I don't notice this problem with the 325i's. What could be causing it?

My HeadRoom Desktop Portable Amp came in yesterday, and I've been using it with my DT770s. The bass is ridiculous. Are there any other headphones that have as much or close to the same amount of bass? I'd be interested in trying them out if they exist.

Today, My Headroom Desktop Portable Amp came in. All I can say is wow. I am going from unamped Grado 325i's and DT770 to a DAC and amp. I have a Mac Pro with an optical out, so I decided to run the optical to the amp. I can't believe I even ever listened without a DAC or amp.

I have both, but I always liked the Grado better until I started using the DT770. I went back to my 325i today, and I didn't realize how uncomfortable they are. I was in denial before. I still love them, but jeez. I didn't realize how much more comfortable the DT770 is.

I would like to remove the 325i logo from my heaphones. I saw that you can remove the button from Grados on http://headwize.com/projects/showfil...=grado_prj.htm. Will removing the button mess up the black paint on the grill? Also, will removing the button change the sound of the headphones?
