Can anyone recommend a short thin (4ft-5ft) cable with 4.4mm termination for 820 that doesn’t change sound signature from original stock cable?

I really enjoyed the AWAS and found its treble adequate. It’s not an airy headphone but it felt very natural and organic to me.

If you want best passive isolation - AKG K872 no question. It has better than average sound stage for a closed back, good imaging, comfort and resolution and stages well.

Why not hd820? It’s almost complete opposite of 9200. Big soundstage, a lot separation, distant lower mids.

The bassiest headphone I have ever heard it’s almost laughably bassy lol.

Have not heard that but I did forget about abyss 1266 TC. It slams for sure.

Bass quantity is not the only feature that makes a headphone slam. Some drivers just have more dynamic slam even when the bass quantity is low. I have never heard a planar that can produce the same amount of dynamic slam as a focal or Fostex or zmf regardless of the bass quantity.
