yes i believe that statement is accurate, to my ears, it sounds great. but i am in favor of the V shape. for $40 shipped to the door you can't beat it. it is by no means high end audio. i paid more in ebay fees selling a pair of cans than that.

a little flatter than my UE TF10, but for the better. i think the Freq response posted on Post #21 is accurate.

This is my first universal IEM type, i'm blown away with the performance at the price. to me these sound way better than my UE TF10 for a fraction of the price. so i wouldn't be worried about losing them

If you are a short drive away from them get the people at Inearz to do it. They will get to inspect the quality of the mold before they work with it. ( I think it is a free service) just bear in mind by doing remolds you drop the resell value of the IEM

I had mines done earlier this year and i have to say i was never happy with it. the plug is a bit too close to my face and cause all sorts of fitting problems. By the time i got them back from the 3rd  refit my 90day refit ran out so i didn't send them back, I am curious how people are able to...

No there aren't really any way to use the FIIO DAC on devices other than a computer. If you really want to bypass the Ipod dac get ready to spend at least $500

It will not improve sound quality but it will give you the ability to run more apps at once without taxing your system. Since RAM for it is pretty cheap why not upgrade ...

I recently bought a Bose QC15 display model that was modified to take 12v  and i am trying to figure out how to convert it from the 12v dc to 1.5v dc. Can't seem to find the where the original battery leads went, any help is appreciated but a picture of the board under the RIGHT left ear cup...

If it is charging then it may be a recent update or something that is messing with the battery status app but if it doesn't charge then it is a sign that your battery is dieing
