A-GD Tenor TE8802 Thread (Installation, Successes, Problems, Troubleshooting)

Ok. Couldnt get it to work in win 10, but bought a usb 32 kit from audio-gd and it was plug and play, and easy and cheap replacement for the te 8802. Excellent support from Kingwa and team.

A-GD Tenor TE8802 Thread (Installation, Successes, Problems, Troubleshooting)

Did anyone get the te8802 to work under windows 10? asynch or not asynch, doesnt matter. I cant get my win 10 to recognise the device.

    Audio-GD NFB-11

Looks like the right ones to me but better ask kingwa at audio gd. As for the variable output a fixed one can potentially damage your speakers because output is at max. I think thats the reason. Its a safety precortion.

    New Audio-gd DAC-19 [10th Anniversary Edition]

Audio gd once sold a te8802 usb board. As upgrade for te7702 or something as i recall. To get asynch transfer. Thats what their usb32 module in the new dac 19 does. Its a diy project with some soldering. I had an xo on that. And for power supply i used a small audio gd psu a kit; a small class...

    New Audio-gd DAC-19 [10th Anniversary Edition]

I have a dac 19 dsp with te8802 psu A usb module connected to pre 2.2 and its a freaking good sounding solution imo. And i have had far far more expensive dacs before. Get this stuff before its out of stock. Its a bargain. Its small and nimble to. I like the engineering timeless design too. I...

Update on my initial impressions The moment Hifiman said they would send new HP I new it could potentially be a difficult situation. There is driver differences, and even the same HP/speaker can sound different. I kept the preorder model because of sound - and even tried it on one of the kids...

Sa-31 is different from acss beeing less neutral. The same goes for the wolfson. But ofcource its a matter of personal preference. 9018 gives more details with more fatigue. Pick your choice. My experience with 560 is go for the ess variant.

    Yulong D100 vs Audio-GD NFB-11

I think you made the right choise as i know the q701 on aud7o gd 11 and the 15 version. The ess is far more detailed but you get faster fatigue. Btw if you at some time upgrade to the compass ess version i think the akg will benefit from it. That my experience from this hp and audio gd gear...

    Audio-GD NFB-3 (2014) ES9018 DAC

In many ways it just is Identical. Try to google the "bpm 7110". I can guarantee that no license is beeing paid here :). And he then adds excellent Vishay resistors to the mix so its probably a better solution. No eu or us company could do that because its illegal. (and damn expensive for the...

    Audio-GD NFB-3 (2014) ES9018 DAC

I actually also thought it was nice of Kingwa to show where he copied it from, now he actually had copied it :)   Regarding copying the cabiniet its actually far more complicated, because it demands production competences that is relatively rare in China. You need to have excellent tool...

    Audio-GD NFB-3 (2014) ES9018 DAC

Current transmision methology is old tech, but Kingwa have outright copied the best solutions in the world - even down to the model number, and tuned it. Combined it with the absolutely best components, and sold it for less than 10% what a us/eu brand would have to charge for it. 10% is on the...

    Audio-Gd Master 7 - Discrete Fully Balanced DAC (PCM1704)

I understand what you both hear and yes i also think it can be attributed to the 170x, but you interprete it wrong imho. The roundness vs dryness is more correct vs real live non amplified sources imho. I think its a general ladder vs streaming technology characteristics. 1 bit dacs never have...

Absolutely. On my Samsung Note 3 it can actually play with many details and fairly lively. The bass is a completely different sound, but you get all frequencies. I absolutely cant get the nessesary level for my preferences, so its a no go for me, but it goes to show that on this hp you dont...

Great. My guess is 560 will sound damn good on all setups, as long as you have more amplification than a normal portal device, because its both fast and dont show all the flaws of the gear. It would be great if amplification could be omitted completely, because not beeing tied to an amp, and...

My experience with different gear on the 560 is you can actually benefit from a better dac. Thats why i mention it. Please. I dont generally think dac/pre is where the money should go. Far from. But it was just my impression from using the hp. Actually i guess i could use some more transparancy...

Your dacs is not good enough to show the potential of this hp imo. Ad 1855 and bb 1794 dont have the resolution power needed for a 560 whatever eg cables and usb solutions we use. Go ask the guys at diyaudio. As for your reciewer its directly objectively compromising the resolution because of...

For me, the 560 is very gentle to your head and soft around your ears except the bottom. At the bottom the cups there is pressure. I would have preferred it bigger here. If i lower the cups i have slight pressure on top.But we have to notice, the effect is perhaps also a little like noise in a...
