FiiO E9 Review
Quote: Wiggling the E7 does not make a difference, audio comes thorough clearly. For example:When i'm playing a song via Foobar, the song would suddenly stop, but it is not due to a faulty connection of the USB cable of the E7. However if i select another song audio would come through...- boredpig

FiiO E9 Review
Quote: Nope, i'm using it directly through USB which is connected to my laptop. The music just sort of just jams there. And for example if i'm playing a game, halfway thorough the audio just stops.- boredpig

FiiO E9 Review
Does anyone have the problem of audio randomly stopping in foobar and other programs that require audio? I'm currently using the Fiio E7/E9 combo.- boredpig

The initial photo of the engineer sample of our LOD KITS for E7 and X3!
Quote: It allows one to use another amp in place of the built in one on the e7. Thus just using the DAC portion in it. and using one with the X3 you would be able to get a line out from it and pair it with another amp. -
Headphones for a girl I know.
Here are some comparisons i found on a audio website, i hope they would be of some use. http://www.headfonia.com/ultra-portable-shootout-px100-px200-portapro-k404-v-jays-tracks-oldskool-and-hd238/...- boredpig

Hippo VB or Atrio M8?
I haven't owned the Hippo VB so i can't comment. But having owned the Atrios before, i can say that if you crave bass you won't be disappointed ! They really have the "kick" to get you moving. And very smooth as well. Just one thing to look out for is the fit of the Atrios, they are really picky...- boredpig

A few quick questions
Players without a line out can still be amped but some purists feel that it's still not a pure and sometimes might have a noisy signal. Usually when using a player without a line out dock , i set the player volume to max and control the volume via the amp.- boredpig

A little question about the Fiio E7
Yep you can use the E7 as an amp to with your ipod touch. The part to be used with the laptop is called the DAC which bypasses the onboard sound card of the laptop to get potentially better sound. So it's actually a portable amp and DAC.- boredpig

Conversion Concerns. (HELP)
320kbps already means it's not lossless. So converting it to lossless essentially only converts the format(most likely mp3 to flac). And in the process might also lose more information.- boredpig

Grado SR60i Burn In
Based on my experience with the sr60i after burning in the highs really tend to smoothen out and are not as piercing as out of the box.For the bass i find that it gets a little tighter.- boredpig
