Earsquake SHA and FISH Review
I just received a package from Richard (udeupa) with two pairs of IEM's: the SHA and FISH from Earsquake. At first glance, they are decent looking earphones. My SHA's are black and blue, and are held together by a sexy cable. Both the SHA and FISH have a little plastic piece in the center...- Esymptote

IEMS $50
Any other suggestions besides the M6? I don't like the design of the M6, because I'd like something that would be easy to pop in and out.- Esymptote

I heard there's a wire in the M6, because its over the ear. Will the wire be affected if I just stuffed it into my pocket?- Esymptote

IEMS $50
So I'm new to the IEM market with about 50 bucks to spend. $30 would be ideal, but I'm willing to go up to $50. They'll be mainly for school, because carrying around headphones is tiresome. I'd prefer a bit of bass, but nothing that'll blow my brains out. I also want something with a nice...- Esymptote

Gift for a friend [-$50 range]
Haha, I'm thinking about investing in some ES7's for myself when I get the chance, but as of now the legit ones seem to be at least 70 dollars. The FW3 seem like the perfect present! I would love to get her the Superlux, but they are towards the end of my price range and the cord length seems...- Esymptote

Gift for a friend [-$50 range]
She doesn't like my portapros, she says they're uncomfortable. The PX100's look a bit flimsy and I'm guessing that she wants headphones that are a bit thicker? She said she really likes how the JVC's looked as well. K81DJ's are a bit out of my range. So for now, the superlux is looking...- Esymptote

Gift for a friend [-$50 range]
The Maxell's look promising, but I'm worried about their build quality. I saw in the other thread about how Amazon reviews aren't the best, but my friend is really bad with taking care of her things. Horrible. Would they stay solid through extreme abuse?- Esymptote

Gift for a friend [-$50 range]
My friend really liked my JVC HAS-700s and begged me to find her a pair of decent headphones for her birthday. Of course, I could just get her a pair of the JVC's, but I was hoping you guys might like to throw out some recommendations. She does not want in-ear/earbuds, which is why I've...- Esymptote

Creative Aurvana Live VS Portapro
How would the Creatives compare tp the Portapros? I currently have the portapro's, but am looking for a decent pair of closed headphones for portable use. I can get the Creatives for $55 from Costco. If they aren't worth the money, I'll be buying the HA-S700s.- Esymptote

Sorry, for the second thread, but I'm still uncertain of what headphones to get. I was recommended the JVC HA-S700, which look pretty good, but thought you guys might have more recommendations. I was kind of joking about them being "hip", I was just trying to imply that I didn't want anything that looked "meh". I already own the portapros and I'm looking for isolation, so please stop recommending KSC75's and portapros. :| And please further explain how wearing headphones in...- Esymptote

Haha, yea I don't want to spend too much on something that might be stolen or broken. I just lost my fourth pair of skullcandies, because my friend ripped an earbud off while fooling around. (I know they aren't thought of greatly, but the earbuds are decent in my opinion for $15) I'll...- Esymptote
