Sorry, for the second thread, but I'm still uncertain of what headphones to get.
I was recommended the JVC HA-S700, which look pretty good, but thought you guys might have more recommendations.
The headphones will be used at school, so they should have a decent sound, good isolation, be sturdy, and look nice.

There was a time when Denon AH-D1001 was only just out of this price range, but I can't seem to find a good price on those any more.

How would you compare the ES7's? I'm thinking of splurging

Heard a lot of good things about those but never listened to them myself. I'm not likely to be buying a very wide range of equipment in the next few years either.

Have a look here for some good recs.
