It's all about Skullcandy SKULLCRUSHERS! RAAWR!

Full sized cans in public =

Though I DO find the JVC HAS700 to be VERY attractive. For <$30, I don't see why the hell not. You can tell 'HIP' people, that they are Bose but you modded 'JVC' on the cups.

Besides, I already own GOOD headphones. I would never wear any of the full sized headphones in public because a.) They're expensive, and b.) they make you look like a tool. So if you wanna look hip while wearing headphones, the HAS700 is your safest bet. Or you can go just for straight looks and get the Skullcandy T.I., which LOOKS nice.

You can also wear the KSC75, and look like the ULTIMATE tool, but at least one who knows about sound quality.

Careful, lots of fake ES7s on Ebay. I'd buy them from a reputable dealer.

Ouch. You might wanna email him or something. The ES7's are one of THE most faked headphones out. I'm afraid you most likely got screwed.

Contact Ebay.

Tell me more. I LOOOOVE their look, but I afraid it'll get completely outdone by my RE0, DT770, DT880, and KSC75.

Or maybe people just don't agree that they sound any good. I think they're pretty mediocre by today's standards. Better than KSC75 but vastly outdone by Yuin G2A, iGrados, RP-HTX7, HA-M750, Denon P372, etc.

BETTER than the KSC75? That's all I need to hear. I feel the KSC75's sound alone is worth $75.

I was kind of joking about them being "hip", I was just trying to imply that I didn't want anything that looked "meh".

I already own the portapros and I'm looking for isolation, so please stop recommending KSC75's and portapros. :|

And please further explain how wearing headphones in public make you look like a tool? And the post says sub $50, so no worries about it being expensive (not saying that $50 is pocket money).

But I guess I'll put HAS700's back into the mix.

So, any thoughts on SRH240 VS HD218 VS HAS700?
And of course, I'm willing to take in others for consideration.

And just to make it clear, I want isolation, somewhat aesthetically appealing, and a decent sound.

personally I don't like wearing full-size in public, plus SRH240 and HAS700 don't look like they isolate at all.

out of those 3 I'd choose HD218/228. I made a thread about them while ago because I was questioning their SQ but someone came up with a mod that makes the sound brighter.
