Is GD Audiobase a trusted website?

Trust worthy but don't be in any rush to get your product.  I happened to have the pleasure of waiting a little over a month to receive my Eterna's.

Looking for IEM <$250 similar to RE-0

CK-10's are very similar to RE-0 in sound sig., but better in every way.  If you enjoy a balanced/bright phone the CK-10 are your best bet for a solid upgrade.

Klipsch Image X10i vs Monster Turbine Pro Copper ( which should I get or trade for)

Having both, I can tell you IMHO the MTPC are the better sounding earphone.  Bass is just as punchy and controlled, mids are more detailed and lush, highs have better extension and control. Soundstage and instrument separation are also slightly larger with the Coppers.  The only thing the X10...

    Earsonics SM3 v1 vs Klipsch X10i.

While we wait for someone who has both to compare....I can give you my impressions of the Klipsch X10.  While they are a very small well built device, with great bass for an armature driver.  I do not believe them to be top tier SQ.  IMHO I think the mids are a bit too muddy and highs rolled off...

Another vote for Phonak Perfect Bass, but get the grey filters.  They make this phone.  IMHO

    Audio Technica ATH-CK10

I agree with the mids being a bit more relaxed/dry on the RE0, but I think they are comparable in bass quality and quantity (might be the Sony ex tips I'm using). CK-10 also have better overall detail and soundstage....and build quality.

Westone W4 vs. Audio Technica ATH-CK10

Quote: Couldn't have worded it more eloquently.  Your experience with each phone will greatly vary depending on personal preference.  I would absolutely adore the CK-10 if the mids were a bit more forward.  Again this is my opinion, your best bet is to gauge whats more satisfying of a...

    Monster Turbine Pro Copper

Quote: The Phonaks require more power regardless of tips used.  And yes the blacks would be a better choice for music preferences, but I still recommend trying the grey filters.  They simply make this phone.

    Ortofon e-Q5 Impressions Thread

I definately find this to be a midcentric phone.  Mids are pushed in the foreground which makes detail retrieval easier for the liquid midrange.  Treble and bass aren't too far behind though.
