The sound signature of Viking Ragar reminds me of Kaiser Encore, which I like a lot, being upgraded to a much higher level. Compared to other IEMs in my current collection, it outperforms Thummim LE in terms of stage width and holographic effects. Bass quality is very good, on par with Thummim...

Being all-rounder, my Thummim LE is now facing a serious challenge from Viking Ragnar. I am leaning towards the new comer in that category.

All-rounder is exactly what LE has become.

Thummim LE retains the original version's holographic soundstage. Detail retrival is still very good. I find bass has a well-controlled amount of body, no longer overwhelming like its predecessor. Mids are sweet with full and nicely layered body. Treble is pretty much the same.

Thummim SE (08/23) is very satisfying. Big leap from the original version.

I am pairing ALO Continental with LCD2 (Rev2 with APS V3 cables) via a silver-copper hybrid LOD. The result is truly amazing. Tomorrow I will try it with JH16.  

Just placed my order after reading very positive opinions here. Hope to get it by this weekend.

Thanks guys for very helpful information.   After going through this thread, I decided to get a replacement cable from Q-Audio ... and the now the hardest part is waiting for it to arrive.

Although I did say that ED10 sounds SO GOOD, I still think a big chunk of its price tag is for decorative blings.

Two sets of Edition 10 just arrived in Bangkok. I was lucky enough to test one of them out of the box. Admittedly, I have to swallow my previous comments that Edition 10 is a marketing gimmick...because its sound quality is SO IMPRESSIVE in every aspect. I can't wait until it is burned in...

It is a standard mini B USB cable (with ferrite pods). You can of course use your own mini-B USB cable with HM-602.

Welcome back Ryuzoh.   I will surely order "FX Limited edition", maxxed with additional 4 BUF634s.   From now on, I will have to keep checking this thread to check when the preorder is formally announced.

Anyone has to update the media file database from SD card every time HM-602 is switched on? Despite that (which is no big deal at all), I have enjoyed the pairing of HM-602 and Edition 8 a lot. This is what I am listening right now.  

I've spent the whole week with Stepdance, which is a great amp, and found that I still prefer fi.Quest better. Waiting to hear when the new batch will be available. Think I need to order another one
