DENON D7000 +1 I am also waiting for Massdrop Purpleheart which supposed to be "V" to the max..

I like how Z7 perform excellent with good ol Ibasso DX90. Maybe because both PHA-3 and DX90 have ESS 9018K DACs? Somehow Z7 sounds better in high gain and high volume..

I had ER4p and I own FX850 as well. ER4P sounds very clear and have very good isolation. FX850 sounds very fun like Denon D7000, think it as a V sound. Bass is awesome. isolation is not too good. ER4P looks like $5 iem, while FX850 looks like $2-300..very classy looking and well made. ER4P...

I got about 50 hours on this FX850. Need extra 250 hours for the surprise?

I find JVC FX850 is for Basshead like me. It reminds me of my DENON D7000.

I own z7 and also waiting for the MD Purpleheart as well. I believe z7 and Purpleheart will have two different sound characteristics. My old denon d7000 had different sound characteristic than my current z7.

Good that you like your HD650. I had HD650 few years back and never liked the sound at all.. "boring" sound I call it.. I used to fell asleep while listening. Grado in other hand was way too "Bright" and "Fatiguing". Could not listen more than 10 minutes...

Will the OS or UI display more than 10,000 songs? I got a DX90 with 200GB micro sd including over 10,000 music but player only shows 10,000 limit..

I also wants to know as well.. I like bass but not overwhelming amount.. is the PH bass is similar to DENON D7000? or more?

I recommend Philips Fidelio X1. It fits your budget and sounds nice.

Yup. definitely X1 needs an amp for sure. I wouldn't play without it. It seems like my ibasso d4 with topflight kit has good synergy with X1. X4 with AD8620 sounds okay but makes X1 too bright and less soundstage than d4. I also bought the mediabridge cable but didn't try yet because stock cable...

I got my X1 today and I love it. Sound quality is better than d600. I must say X1 is fun and enjoyable hp. More fun than d600. Bass is there and mid is clear. only downfalls so far are ear cups gets itch and need hp amp to play loud and clear. I tried without hp amp and played straight through...

what did you use with x1? did you use headphone amp? I ordered x1 and can't wait to try it. I once had AT Ad700 and I never liked the sound signature..

I just flipped the coin and bought the x1 over he-400.. j/k.. I did many hours on researching and decide to try x1 first. If I don't like it, will return back to amazon and try he-400. My ultimate goal is to buy th900 someday. Hope I will enjoy x1..
