  It's true that prices for the HD600/650s have changed to the ''bad'' side. They used to be found brand new at 230/280 euros respectively and I think they are currently too overpriced at 400 mark.

I'd love to be entered into this. I owned a creative zen player and some creative sound cards such as Audigy and Live!   Now my PC has one X-fi Fatality installed inside and i'm happy with every creative product i bought.

I also think that it's your storage devices that caused the problem but you can still go to help->online troubleshooter from your foobar player and update all the component(s) listed in the red list to minimize every potential risks.
