I'm a current owner of ESW10 (3+ years). To me ESW11 failed to exceed in terms of both sound quality and physical beauty when comparing against the former portable flagship. Just my 2 cents though.

I can confirm that ESW11LTD share the same drivers with W3000anv. One of my friends went to AT's product launch press conference and one AT staff told him the aforementioned info.

Some recommendations from my past experience: Senn HD598, HD25-1 ii Denon D2000, D1100 Audio Technica M50, ESW9 Shure SRH840 AIAIAI TMA-1 KOSS DJ100 V-Moda Crossfade LP   All of them do not require serious amping to sound good, which is essential for starters.

iPod Classic --> CLAS --> SR-71B balanced mode --> LCD-2 with Whiplash hybrid balanced cable

The brightness, or sibilance, does not go away after an extensive period of burn-in for my SR-71B - LCD-2 setup. That's one of the reasons I decided to sell SR-71B and wait for Rx Mk3. 

One of my friends who works for Sennheiser Asia has confirmed that HD700 will be announced early Jan. 2012, along with some other new models as well. He politely refused to go into further detail so I have no idea what "other models" are.

I already sold my SR-71B because I'm honestly not fully satisfied with LCD-2 in balanced mode. They sound great but I do notice the "brightness" issue mentioned by googeli. I'll wait and buy the ALO Rx Mk3 once available to see if its balanced mode does a better job.

I'm interested in getting 535LE from you in case you no longer want to keep them.
