Trekstor Vibez or Sony NW-A808
I've only had serious issues with sonic stage when it deleted a recording I made on my HI-MD after I tried to upload it. Thank god they've fixed that ridiculous issue.- Zappa74

Anyone ever play with minidisc?
I've been using minidisc for years now... only for recording purposes though. Currently using one of the HI-MD recorders and I love it. Tons of recording time, cheap media and the ability to upload recordings via USB. Great format for recording. Not so much for listening.- Zappa74

Anyone ever buy an I-Audio X5 refurb?
I've noticed that refurbished I-Audio X5s can be had for a nice price. Does anyone have any experience with one of their refurbs? I know a friend who has gone through a few refurbished Ipods and they've looked as good as new... just curious if the X5s have as good a reputation. Thanks much.- Zappa74

Sony MZ-RH910 or Rio Karma?
I own both players. Bought the karma first to use as a player and bought the RH910 second to use as my recorder. If you're going to record and you can only have one- obviously pick the 910. For everything else- the Karma wins. Much better software (I hate sonicstage), much better user...- Zappa74

Got a Sony MZ-RH910 Minidisc Recorder
I've got an RH910 too. Been using minidisc for years (recording). I was seriously let down by the unit. My first recording ended up with numerous errors that resulted in me not being able to successfully upload the recording to my pc. Very crappy. Reinstalled sonicstage on a fresh install of...- Zappa74
