    Out of everything I have heard (HE60s/O2s/650s/K701/1000s etc) the L3000s were it for me, too bad they are way out of my price range but have AD2000s coming so that's always something to cheer me up

    I would return them and try something else, general impressions here say that the Beats are pretty good but definitely not worth price you paid for them as you could probably find better headphones in that price range. Try the M50s and see how they sound, you could certainly be surprised...

    Need recommendation on headphones for electronic/dance/trance music

    If you still have the AD2000s, have you tried to phat pad mod? If you put some sort of rubber tubing or foam in the outer edge of the pads I heard it'll help quite a bit with the comfort issues since it seperates the driver from your ear.
