Yamaha EPH-100
The gold/zinc plating on mine has corroded now to the point where if the plug turns (which it does a lot) the audio will become severely distorted and even cut out! Anyone know a solution?- urban maverick

Best Studio Headphones
So I don't own them but I did do quite a bit of research on them and it seems the Vocal Spirit Pro's are the most neutral headphones for $1000<. A definite consideration for those looking for (upper*) mid range studio cans. They are also closed so a pro or con depending on what you need.- urban maverick

Why isn't anyone giving me headphones in my price range?
Well I wasn't really looking for the best "bass headphones" so that is probably why I never came across it. I only said this in on of my posts but was actually looking for cans that had a much stronger and punchier bass than my current mdr-ma900. I thought that shortening that down to "geared...- urban maverick

Why isn't anyone giving me headphones in my price range?
Okay guys so after reading billybob_jcv comment about why I crossed off some popular headphones recommended to me I went through each one and listed my reasons. I then came across the Mad Dog Pro's that I had myopically struck because someone said they were hard/expensive to drive. After doing...- urban maverick

Why isn't anyone giving me headphones in my price range?
I knew this comment would come up. So basically my title is atrocious, but I was trying to convey that I was having trouble communicating with the community. Since posting this I now understand what I was doing wrong and am grateful for the people that actually went through my history to find my...- urban maverick

Why isn't anyone giving me headphones in my price range?
So this is not me complaining but I have posted several threads looking for help trying to find a closed overhead pair of cans that have good base and durability for ~$400. When I do get a response it is usually recommending a pair of cans $150 under my budget. On one of the replies I received...- urban maverick

Good closed headphones for ~$400?
So I would like to driver these out of a E07k or E17k or similar portable amp/dac. I really want a powerful and defined bass. They would need to have good isolation as I am going to be in a dorm nest year and don't want to disturb/be disturbed. Also since I will be going to college they will be...- urban maverick

IT'S THE FINAL COUNT DOWN!- VMODA M100 VS FOCAL SPIRIT CLASSIC VS NAD VISO HP50 -BUH DUH DUH DA
After a long long while the time is finally nigh. These 3 epic choices range form $260-400 and you get to decide. These will be driven out of a FiiO E07k or E17k. These will be used for bass heavy music (75%); For gaming (20%); And for on the go listening (5%). I cannot tell you the horrors they...- urban maverick
