    triflange vs shure olive

On my er6i, I prefer the olives over the triflange in every meaningful way. While the triflanges are easy to insert, I found myself constantly adjusting them to try and get them positioned correctly. The olives are also much more comfortable over extended periods of time. I also found the...

Grado RS-2 these are awesome but the bowl pads...

I had this same problem when using bowl pads on my MS-1. My solution was to put some PX-100 pads on the earcups, under the bowls. That way there's at least a little foam between your ear and the grill. The downside is that the foam will muffle the sound, giving you a slightly darker and...

"Proof the iPods white earbuds dont suck that much"-- from Gizmodo

My opinion has always been that they're not bad, per se, but they really don't do the music justice, especially if you're listening in a noisy area. I see people listening to iBuds on the bus all the time, and they just sound screechingly bright with all that low-frequency background noise. It...

    Bose stands for Buy.Only.Satan's.Equipment

I dunno about you, but I would certainly want Satan's audio equipment - he clearly knows a thing or two about rock & roll.

    Upgrading from ER6i Options

Take a look at the q-jays. I've heard them described as having a level of detail approaching the er4, but with a more full sound, like you're looking for. If I was going to upgrade my er6i right now, they're what I would get.

    ksc 75 vs grado sr60?

The KSC75 is great... given the fact that it's only $20. It's a great "gateway drug" to the world of good sound, and as a gift to an iBud-toting friend, or for when you're on a strict budget, it can't be beat. That being said, it just can't hold a candle to more expensive, serious headphones -...

SONY mdr-7506 VS Alessandro MS-1, which ones better?

    I need $25 Headphones!

Now, I know I'm gonna be going against the crowd on this one, and it probably isn't going to make me any friends, but I've gotta say it anyway: you should get the KSC75.

    Shure olives

If the Sonys you've got are the ones I'm thinking of, then the "stem" on them is a bit thicker than on the er6i, Shures, etc. The olives have a hard plastic tube going down the center, so if it's not just the right size than it'll be tough to get on. But it sounded like someone successfully...
