SE530's Potential?
Did you just yank the foamies right off the nozzle? Or even if if you twisted it out too hard and fast, it could become lose then fall off! Remember with these phones, be extra gentle. My E500 cable split a while ago, turn around was 4 working days which is very very impressive. Just post...- toucam

Shure SE530
I'm no expert in breaking music down to low, mid, high but I simply just prefer the sound of W3, I'd say it's warmer and less "harsh" or forward/bright is the word(s). And this's probably why I'm now having no fatigue with W3 after even a few hours. My immediate reaction was that W3 sounded...- toucam

Shure SE530
My immediate reaction with W3 after more than 2 years with SE530 is that bass is definitely better than the latter, so much more refined and "truer". I listened to The Killer's "Sam's Town" and the drum was just phenomenal, you just know that how bass is supposed to sound Everyone is on about...- toucam

Terrible experience with Shure Europe
I really can't see they would exchange a new pair just because the cable is "green". The cable of my ex-E5 was as green as it gets and I didn't notice any degradation in term of sound quality. They're not obliged to replace it as long as the earphones work normally.- toucam

Clingfilmed EX90 and ...
This piece of advice was given by a guy from Overclockers UK on the Sound forum. He should be imposed a keyboard restrain order for life. Good Lord Clingfilm modded earphones? What on earth was he thinking? The Shure E2c's are not great - they do lack bass compaired with the best out...- toucam

For Head-fi & Audiophile Women
Same here in London, the best I have seen so far is one Shure E3 and some E2 and this is the Square Mile we're talking about. I have a feeling that I'm the only one who wears E500 in the whole city. Why don't they have some sort of "Dummy: The Guide to Sound Equipment" course Quote...- toucam

Rockbox "while playing screen" without peakmeter
Me too, eventhough I like the sound but these freezes drive me crazy. For home use RB's interface is okay but on the road I've realised that it's just so inconvenient compare to Apple's. And the battery drains down so quickly, won't even last a trip to work there and back. Guess it's time for...- toucam

Holy carp, have you tried Rockbox's 5G iPod Hardware EQ?
I'm happy with the sound but not with the playback. It skips or glitchy about 3 times everytime I play an ALAC file, this is even with EQ off, no Peak Meter and simple theme. Guess I will have to wait for an update.- toucam
