Doodlebug - USB Isolator
One can easily get cheap fibers from eBay or elsewhere; they can be used to transfer the LED's light to the front panel. I use this method extensively in my builds. Much easier than messing with wires etc and can be tweaked to get the brightness you want without having to adjust current.- TheShaman

Thanks guys! Quote: It's worth it. The power supply is almost three times the size and weight of the EVO itself but who cares... ;) Was actually tempted to go with batteries but charging management issues made me go for a mains-powered unit. Quote: Well, the...- TheShaman

O2 Build Complete: Let the objective, subjective listening tests commence!
Hey, I'm all about measurements and blind tests. That's why if one says that the better bench numbers of The Wire don't mean anything, I'd like some proof (= blind test) about that. Btw, I don't think the designer of O2 even suggested that he hit the "measurements-sweetspot", where...- TheShaman

Looking for 500$ USB to S/PDIF transport
The Evo is better than the HiFace and way better with a proper supply. There is no hint of the "aggressiveness" that HiFace has on higher frequencies, more detailed etc. etc...- TheShaman

Audnst HUD-MX1 + Krk Rokit's - Good Combo or Not?
The "Volume" knob behind the Rockits is NOT an actual volume control... It's a gain control and it's meant to be adjusted ONCE, if at all... From the manual: Quote: also... Quote: Hope that helps.- TheShaman
