the philips shl5500: natural sounding can.
Quote: It's the recording. I never heard this before when I didn't have any "audiophile" gear. Afterwards... I downloaded the FLAC files.... still there. That distortion in that exact spot of the song mentioned is what I hear all the time with.... Brainwavz HM5 Sennheiser...- soze

[Review] Brainwavz HM5, A New Neutral Champ
Quote: Can't compare to the KRK as I don't have those or have tried those... but the earcups for the HM5 are ridiculously soft, generously cushioned and comfortable to me. They fit around my whole ear easily.- soze

Any regular meets in Orange County (Irvine, CA)?
Quote: Yeah I was thinking of mini listening meets spaced by a month too, but that could be overkill. Every 2 months or even once a quarter would be cool though. I just figured it's not always about the gear... it could even be just to share listening on new good quality music.- soze

Just listened to some Fostex T50RPs today... WOW!
Got my second pair of T50RP2s today for comparison purposes against my modded one. Man, I can't believe how different stock sounds. Going to burn in the new ones a bit longer just to make sure I get a true feeling of what the stock ones sound like to compare with my modded pair.- soze
