I can go up to about $300... but if theres something thats like waaay better than everything...- PomPWNius

Open headphones <$200 for metal
The grados I have tried were my friends have broken Sr60's... lol not even sr60i's. I guess I probably should give em another try xD. What I hated most about them was the feel, I was using the bowl pads but they just feel so weird. And I felt like the only way I could get a full sound was if I...- PomPWNius

Open headphones <$200 for metal
I would like to get my first pair of open headphones, because I would really like a large soundstage for listening to metal music. I like strong mids, not recessed. Good bass would be nice, but not too strong.- PomPWNius

Headphones for Rock/Metal around $200 dollars
Hi I currently own Sennheiser HD 25 1-ii's. I pretty much only listen to stuff like Melodic Death Metal, and Folk Metal, so I need good mids and highs. While I love the Hd 25's for listening to metal music, I would like something with much better soundstage. I have tried Grado's and I honestly...- PomPWNius

Well she was very stubborn and got the same earbuds again. Well, a month later they broke. This time...- PomPWNius

The Etymotics HF5 Thread
They do play metal very well, maybe the best under $100 for metal. They do need some brain burn in though. At first I thought it sounded muddy, with no instrument separation whatsoever, but now I absolutely love them ^.^- PomPWNius
