JH3A - How will you feed it?
"@FRGus, the sendstation dock is just a data transfer usb dock (like the one you get with a iphone/ipod/ipad) and will not transfer digital out audio. The ipad has a camera connection kit that looks the same but only works with an ipad and that will transfer 16/44 digital out to a JH-3a. The...- FRGus723

JH3A - How will you feed it?
While it is not up on the JH site yet, many people on the Head Fi forum have heard from Jerry personally that the USB inout will be there although it will only be 16/44 much to most peoples chagrin. I think everyone feels thery should but at least 24/96 if not 24/192 but they claim it will...- FRGus723

JH3A - How will you feed it?
Can one use this http://www.sendstation.com/us/products/pocketdock/lineout-usb.html attached to an iPhone4G and output into the JH3A's USB input? Granted it would be analog (which is how everyone has heard it so far and loved it) I guess when it comes to portable I can't really care that...- FRGus723

Cheapest usb amp/dac that offers best sound quality.
This is solid and cheap ($160) and there are plenty of reviews. If you're looking for a cheaper avenue you won't be too disappointed. Headroom Total Bithead. http://www.headphone.com/headphone-amps/amplifiers/headroom-total-bithead.php If the budget can't be pushed a little more...- FRGus723

looking to buy an amp
I am somewhat of a noob as well. You have less to worry about with low impedance cans then high impedance cans. It is typically a scenario where you have high impedance cans and an amp that is not powerful enough to drive the cans. You thankfully have the opposite. I love the Protector but...- FRGus723

Setup for sensitive IEM
I have the Shadow and I can say it is a nice little amp. Agreed it is not mind blowing but adds a nice touch. After getting the Protector I now no longer listen to my Shadow which now has about 15 hours on it.- FRGus723

Protector or Pico slim for a bass lover?
Linthart, I was in the same boat and was waiting on my Slim and just couldn't wait to hear a good portable amp so I went and bought the RSA Shadow and loved it until I got talked into the Protector. I can honestly say from my standpoint that nothing I listen to sounds as good as the...- FRGus723

JH Audio JH16 Pro First Impressions
After I sent mine in for refit I can now comfortably wear mine at work for nearly 8 hours straight everyday with slight discomfort only coming in around hour 7 or 8. Whatever juju happens to them they have by far gotten more comfortable to wear and sound better and full. As a side note I...- FRGus723

Quote: Or just make your artwork say JH-24 and you can "claim" Jerry specifically built these for you and you only. Do you know how cool that would make you? Cooler than anyone with crappy JH16's that's for sure.- FRGus723

Quote: I wholeheartedly concur. The Protector balanced has made what was already an amazing earpiece even better. TWag helped in my case but YMMV.- FRGus723
