beyerdynamic T5p: Photos and first impressions.
I pair my T5p's with Ray Samuels' SR-71A 'The Black Bird'. Perfect combination. Really brings the T5p to life.- EditorsNotes

Beyerdynamic T5p vs Ultrasone Edition 8
Sound stage is not unique to live music:) Sound stage is an expression of the headphone's ability to separate aspects of the music and present it back to you in the most accurate manner. When a band records an album it's not done with one microphone....it's done with several microphones...- EditorsNotes

Reply to review by 'editorsnotes' on item 'Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro Limited Edition 32 Ohm'
Thanks for the review. I've been eyeing these cans for a couple of months now and I'm glad to hear that they are worth taking a closer look at. I've had the DT 770 Pro 80 Ohm's for a couple years now and would love the same sound signature in a can with a little more power (without an amp).- EditorsNotes

Ultrasone Edition 8 vs. Beyerdynamic T5P, anybody?
First off, I love my T5p's. However at times it's a love/hate relationship (in a good way). Headphones as dynamic and detailed as the T5p's can often require your attention in ways you weren't expecting. It's hard to just throw these headphones on and go about your day. The detail draws you in...- EditorsNotes

Quote: Pretty sure the 'new version' just means it includes the metal box/case vs the felt case that last years T5p's came with.- EditorsNotes

beyer t70 & t70p NEW!
I love the sound these headphones produce but I'm not in love with the build quality and materials. I prefer the feel of my DT770's (which are more comparable to the T70's in regards to material and build than Beyer's T1 or T5p) over the T70's.- EditorsNotes

denon d7000 earpad on t5p ?
Quote: Kind of an interesting post Kiteki. Has anyone tried to gauge HP clarity by their ability to convey recording 'mistakes' (or bleeding sound) like that? And if so, which cans would win?- EditorsNotes

beyerdynamic T5p: Photos and first impressions.
Your comment above makes it sound like you hate the T5p, or the idea of the T5p, compared to the T1... Either way, I love these cans. I actually did a pretty cool test to see how accurate the T5p's are at recreating the original source. I A/B'd a live orchestra playing the works of John...- EditorsNotes

You were looking into amp's/dac's for your T5p's right? Which did you end up choosing and does it sound good?- EditorsNotes

Beyerdynamic T1 or T5P help.
The price is similar but you're paying for two different products. The T1 is a solid can with great SQ (pro) but not portable and open backed (cons; for your situation). I've had the T5p for over a year now and couldn't be happier. I love the portable aspect. I know I'm sacrificing a small...- EditorsNotes

I bought the T5p's based on this review and I couldn't be happier. They are an extremely detailed headphone and demand your full attention. I have them paired with a RSA SR-71A amp and the combo is perfect.- EditorsNotes

Beyerdynamic T5p portable amp?
RSA should still be making the SR-71B which is actually a step up and fully balanced.- EditorsNotes

Beyerdynamic T5p portable amp?
I've been using the RSA SR-71A with my T5p's for the past year now. I couldn't recommend the combo more. It may be a bit outside the price you'd mentioned but when dealing with $1200 cans it makes sense to pair them with an amp of equal quality.- EditorsNotes

Pictures Of Your Portable Rig (part XV)
I actually never had a classic. I've had the iphone for years and have always used nano's. But I agree a classic would be a great addition and have thought about upgrading recently.- EditorsNotes
