ZMF Verite Closed-New Closed Back ZMF Flagship.

Thanks, I would appreciate it if you could give the Mojo/Poly a test with your VC! I was looking at the Mojo earlier, as yes the Hugo is more than I'm willing to spend for what essentially will be a secondary setup. I will check out some of the other iFi recommendations as well.

ZMF Verite Closed-New Closed Back ZMF Flagship.

Any recommendations for compact amp/dac setups that pair well with the VC? I want to get mine set up for bedtime listening and just have a small nightstand next to the bed. I have an ifi hip dac right now but I'm sure I can do better, and I want to keep the overall sound balanced.

    Audeze LCD-X

I'm a lurker, but thought I'd pop in to sing some praises. I am officially an Audeze fan. Bought an LCD-X from Head-Fier TMRaven a few days ago, but I somehow managed to resist the urge to listen to them until my Oppo HA-1 came in the mail today. I'm coming from an Aune T1 and HD600... Wow is...

    Does anyone use mog?

Do you mean when you search for a term, you want to search specifically for album titles (as MOG broke searches up separately into artists/albums/songs)? Well the search function is essentially the same as MOG's so you can just as you did with MOG and filter by albums. <--- Here for example is...

    Does anyone use mog?

It's basically MOG but with a dumb "hip" interface thrown on top, designed for the smartphone generation. This means the web player is complete trash (you can't even make playlists from the web at the current moment) and in general it seems like it was made with an emphasis on looking...

    Spotify vs MOG

Is this confirmed? I really don't want to have to switch over to Spotify because MOG's library was far superior as far as my music tastes go. There's no way I want to pay more money to get less music. Also, Spotify's playlisting ability is inferior for me (having to manually alphabetize...

    LendMeUrEars trustable?

Mine took 3 and a half weeks to get to Texas, and the tracking didn't show up on USPS (it just said "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" as yours does) until the final few days. They're probably being processed through customs which can take a while, but you'll get within a week or two.

The ATH-CKM500..The best CKM earphone yet.

After several hours of listening to music, the bass has calmed down a bit to a perfect level and I feel like clarity has increased. Maybe that's just me getting used to the sound signature, I don't know, but what a rich full sound these produce!! I'm starting to actually like them over my Audeo...

The ATH-CKM500..The best CKM earphone yet.

Got mine today. I'm using them to listen to metal and replace my Sony MDREX (the cheapo ones), which I used for casual listening. However I'm comparing these to my Audeo PFE 112, which are around $100 more expensive than these CKM500s. Also I'm not pretending to be an expert nor objective in any...

The ATH-CKM500..The best CKM earphone yet.

Mine finally shipped today. Hopefully it arrives by the end of the week. I'm pretty excited to see how they work with my music collection.

The ATH-CKM500..The best CKM earphone yet.

Quote: Same here. Looking at the product page it now gives the shipping estimate as "2-4 weeks," so they must have run out of stock. I'm sending them an email to see if they managed to get my order in before that happened, but I imagine there'll be a bit of a wait now.

The ATH-CKM500..The best CKM earphone yet.

I just ordered a pair after reading through this thread, and I'm curious about one thing: most of you when comparing these to other phones, are comparing them to significantly more expensive ones (for example, just after a quick search I've found the going price of the GR07 and FXT90 to...

Buying portable or in-ear headphones? Seeking guidance? DON'T START A NEW THREAD. Ask for advice HERE!

Hi, I'm in need of a pair of in-ear headphones for less intensive listening under $100 (preferably under $75). Right now I'm using a Phonak PFE 122 for more focused listening and a cheap Sony MDREX36V for more casual listening, which I'm gifting to a friend so I need a replacement. I don't have...

Looking for some headphones to use for an iPod

If you don't mind the open design and sound leakage, I'd definitely go with a Grado. I have similar music tastes to you, and the SR80i has been absolutely perfect for me so far. I don't have much experience with the higher end Grados, but I can definitely rec the SR80i.   edit: Sorry just...

Looking for a well rounded set of cans for under $200

The FA-011 is an open design, so you might want to mark that off your list. Maybe replace that possibility with the FA-003/Brainwavz HM5?
