Who here watches Game of Thrones ?

Quote: It's the second episode in, the ball has just started to get rolling and we've got answers to questions that were left wide open at the end of season 2. Season 3 has been great thus far.

I think I am going to do the jergpad mod except I am going to sew my pleather and velour together. No offernse to Jerg and his mods but double sided tape ontop of the velour just isn't as clean as I'd personally like my headphones to be although the inspiration is still great.

Please help! I'm new and I dont know what I'm doing!

Quote: If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a DAC/Headphone amp I suggest going with something like the Asus Xonar DGX (W/ built in headphone amp). They're about $50 CDN/$40 US so the price is right. It will provide enough power for your needs and budget IMO. The cards are good.

LOL at all the Beats bashers........

The original post really comes off as an angsty teenager. They do infact straight up lie and hoodwink their customers and many people have already came here to tell you how you're wrong.

Quote: I told myself I was not going to spend any more money. I just can't say no to a zebra wood stand for my hp's. I keep just laying them on the velour bag on my desk and it just doesn't seem right. Ordered.

Quote:   I'm not sure if anyone has posted steps but this is what I did.    1. Got a bucket of as hot water as my hands could stand. 2. Remove the plastic ring inside of the velour pads. 3. Soak the velour pads in the hot water bucket and get a good squeeze on the velour so the...

I just did this "hot water soak" for my velour pads and let them dry. I must say there is quite a bit of difference in terms of comfort now. I dont detect any change in SQ but the velour is much softer around the ears and feels far less itchy. A worthy 'mod' in my opinion.

Quote:   Hey Jerg,   I still have virgin pleathers/velours which you could mod and take pictures of if you'd like. I'm also in Canada so it might make sense. Currently in Sault Ste Marie but travel to Toronto and St.Catharines regularly.

Quote: I don't know whether it was brain burn in or driver burn in, but I found the sound improved after about 60-80 hours. The HIFIMAN manual states that they require 150 hours of burn-in. I can't even explain how great the sound is to my ears right now. I don't really know all the head-fi...
