I think I am going to do the jergpad mod except I am going to sew my pleather and velour together. No offernse to Jerg and his mods but double sided tape ontop of the velour just isn't as clean as I'd personally like my headphones to be although the inspiration is still great.

I just did this "hot water soak" for my velour pads and let them dry. I must say there is quite a bit of difference in terms of comfort now. I dont detect any change in SQ but the velour is much softer around the ears and feels far less itchy. A worthy 'mod' in my opinion.

Call me crazy but this is the way I like my HE-400s sounding through my M&M stack.

If the cMoyBB is anything like an E11 it will power it 'okay' but something with a bit more juice will make it quite a bit better. I went from an E11 to the Schiit M&M stack and the sound improved considerably.    What kind of sound are you looking for?
