Need advice concerning slightly warped new vinyl and record clamps.

if you're not getting mistracking or other problems because of the warpage it might be better to just leave it alone and save your money? I've got some ridiculously warped at the edges vinyl that make the arm move up and down like a roller coaster during play. However, I can play them from...

14 Digital amps Shootout by Stereomojo.com & GR Research

The sad thing is that the winning amp is not suitable for many users because it has only one set of inputs, and the volume knob needed to be turned ALL the way just to achieve a listenable volume(74db?, not acceptable when I want to rock out). Based on the shootout I'd look at the Onkyo or the...

I love that Canon macro lens that goes up to 5 times life-size without the need to use bellows, extension tubes or whatever. I wish nikon had something like that!!

I'm eyeing the G7 and the Ricoh GRD. So far the Ricoh GRD is calling my name a lot louder (it has no zoom lens, but i'm used to shooting wide primes so...........plus its a lovely old fashioned design!!!)

Ah well, I guess it depends on what your doing with the camera. In other news, compact digicams are getting faster and better I'm actually thinking of going back to them and selling off my entire nikon dslr system (except for my sb800, which i can still use with compacts)

I'm going to give me 2-cents on UV filters. Unless you are willing to clean the front element of your lens directly on a regular basis, slap a decent filter on every lens you own (Hoya HMC, B+W MRC etc) A suprising amount of dirt/smut can accumulate on the lens element within a short time...
