Watts Up...?
I am also a TT2/MS owner, and I had a somewhat similar experience to yours. And just when writing this posting, I switched from pass-through mode to full-scaled mode to replicate. The effect is not dramatic, but all pervasive. For me its is obvious when I let go and immerse into the music... -
Watts Up...?
I got the impression that the Quartet Scaler will work only with Dave, but not with TT2? -

Thank you, I already ordered a new set of batteries, assuming the fitting plugs are XH 2.54 - will take it from there.- 6RS

Since some time my H2 does not power up unless supplied with external power. Once running, I can remove the external power and it goes on fine. Could it be a voltage drop in the batteries and replacing them would cure the issue?- 6RS

Raal Ribbon Headphones - SRH1A
Hi, I am using the Raal SR1a with a Kinki EX M7. As source I use a Melco N100 feeding Chord's M-Scaler Hugo TT2 combo. Now, I realize MinimServer 2 has an option to apply EQ. I wonder whether anyone has done it and could offer advice how to do it and whether anyone has done and could offer a...- 6RS

Raal Ribbon Headphones - SRH1A
Hi everybody, i am intrigued by the November sales and I want to buy a Raal SR1a. I am really excited. Now, I haven‘t read this complete thread, so likely my questions have been covered. But I still hope that maybe I could get an answer. I have Chord M Scaller, Hugo TT2 both with LPS that...- 6RS

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
I have been using the M-Scaler/Hugo TT2 (both with S-Booster LPS) combo with an Mac Mini/LPS, Audioohilleo2/PP and Amarra. Now I have replaced the Mac mini with a Melco N10 (a music server). The improvement is substantial! There is sense of calm, peace and naturalness. Dynamics is way much...- 6RS

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
I had both - the problem with the Hugo-2 is the limitation of what kind of BNC cables can be used. Similar, the use of Cinch cables is somewhat restricted, my LessLoss c-Marc did not fit. M-Scaler/Qutest with ferrite-loaded BNC cable, external linear PS (SBooster) and LessLoss c-Marc Cinch cable...- 6RS

Hi, I used - 1M Germany YARBO SP-PSC-75O Hi-End 75Ω Pure silver coaxial digital audio cable, OD 7mm - Nitrile 7mm ID x 3mm C/S O Ring. 7x3 - Würth Elektronik 74270045 Ferrites. These ferrites are much more compact compared to the equivalent ones that fit a 8 mm cable (eg the Oyaide silver...- 6RS

Interesting. In my case, I could still appreciate the improvement of a linear power supply for the Mac mini, even in the presence of Audiophilleo2 w/PurePower, suggesting that a state-of-the-art streamer could still provide further improvement,- 6RS

I do still have the Hugo2. But I cannot use my WAVE clone cables with it, but apparently, the ferrites are not required with Hugo2? But then I read the Qutest sounds better than Hugo2. I will compare soon.- 6RS

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
I have the Audiophilleo since long, I bought it in 2014. However, I was hoping I could reduce the clutter and remove it from the chain. Quite possibly, a Jitterbug may have similar effects. I can only speculate about the cause. However, I thought the >2 GHz noise is an issue between M Scaler and...- 6RS
