Sandy Denny has a phenomenal voice

Kate Rusby, Lisa Hannigan, Katriona Gilmore, Karen Matheson, I could go on.
Also, one not many have heard of, Rachel Sermanni has a lovely voice, check her out.

Here's another non-english singer (in this instance singing in English). She clearly struggles to pronounce the word 'the', but otherwise not a bad voice:
