The atmosphere captured in your photo is just incredible... it's like you captured a moment in time. I want to be at that table soaking those rays of sun, sipping that wine, and listening to that set up. Seductive as hell... nice!!!

Thanks so much!! Very kind words. Not only a perfect description of the moment, it's poetry

I haven’t yet listened to the Caldera and Atrium, and I’m specially interested in the AC just because I agree the VO is a kind of unforgiving with poor mastered music, like some 70s/80s rock.

But past weekend I’ve had some long listening sessions with the VO and I’m love with it. All I have thrown to it (well mastered music) sounds fantastic. IMO it really shines with Jazz, blues, acoustic, voices and of course classical music.

Listening to something like Mike Oldfield (Amarok, Ommadawn, Tubulars…), with this fast driver playing so natural all those instruments, coming from everywhere and forming a sonic pleasure bubble around you, it’s like a….yeah, I closed my eyes and could fly, don’t need anything more….

Well, may be a glass of wine helped a bit 😉

Would love to have some of that ! Maybe time for me to bring my VO out of my house to get some sunshine and sip some wine at balcony too. Cheers !

Recently rediscovering my old VO with Holo May.

Something that sounds absolutely mindblowing with VO :)

Love the dissonant, Radiohead-ish sound & trudging/dense beat. This singer has a great voice; she's not afraid of putting it through the ringer.

(never heard of them until I heard the video today)
One of many great things that 90s gave us, so yeah Radiohead-ish vibes are not a coinsidence

Two more Cat Power tracks for you to check out: The Greatest ( a super mellow song ) and 3-6-9 ( a grooving track I just love).

I am listening to IEMs 90% these days, but every time I take on Verite I justify why I have them and probably never going to sell them.
Such resolving and natural timbre, for me it has perfect tonality for most music. Specially metal and rock, I adore it for this.
Also love it with electronica, but my basshead side likes to boost a few dB of sub and mid bass then.

Testing here the lineout on Cayin N7, first thing I reach for to test is Verite. Spectacular sound together with Feliks Audio Echo.
Now I just wish this summer heat could end so I can use headphones more often again

@jonathan c really nice:) i have sold my Wa3 but regret that. I like it more than wa2. Wa3 is a great match with VO.

BTW i watched one of the last (if not last) interview with Zach. He said VO are the HPs he used most frequently. I guess because upper mids are slightly recessed. That makes them so enjoyable, espacially for people (like me) who are sensitive ın this area.

I have also found that, for me, VO notches up with a good copper/silver interwoven (not plated) cable: here, Forza Audio Works Noir Hybrid; alternate is Norne Audio Vygarde.

I used Forza noir Hybrid but prefer the ZMF stock cable. I found it to have more air, better separation and surprisingly less harsh hights. I ended up with zmf 2k copper cable.
