You and me both...... I have to stop thinking about this. I am about to post up a WTB for some Zircote Verite........with no money. As you guys can see by my Avatars..... I love things with beautiful wood.

You already have a Verite. Does the wood has lot of say in sonic qualities? I only have Zircote Verite and I'm very interested to know how much does it differ from the stock one. I never had a chance to hear the Verite with stock wood.

Yes, while my Stock wood doesn't look bad......It doesn't look as nice as most of the Zircote I have seen. I think Zach has mentioned that a change of pads alters the sound more than different woods

This combo is absolutely ridiculous! Crazy expensive too,but worth it IMO. By far the absolute best sound coming into my ears Ive ever heard.

This is such a lovely photogenic headphone. It also sounds great. I've been using the Universe Perforated Suede pads mostly but switched over to the BE2 pads and the extra little sparkle they provide is nice.

Beautiful, just beautiful. Verite in Mahogany is just as beautiful with that chassis colour.
