Mmm. Prog metal.
I also like bands like Pink Floyd, Marillion, King Crimson and heavier bands like Gojira and Enslaved.

I think you'd dig my record collection. Case in point:I also like bands like Pink Floyd, Marillion, King Crimson and heavier bands like Gojira and Enslaved.
I think @Bonddam tried some other non-ZMF pads on his VC or maybe it was his VO.At the risk of blasphemy, anyone ever tried non-ZMF pads on their VC? I have some DCA Ether Flow angled pads I got for my HE6SE I’m considering throwing on the VC just to see what happens.
I would get the OG and upgrade it with Jupiter caps yourself or a local technician. Best of both worlds at a great value.I am thinking about getting a pendent og for my VC. Used are selling for the around $1300, Which I think is a fair price. There's a pendent se on classified for 2200. If anybody has tried both, can you shed light on some of the differences.
I think you'd dig my record collection. Case in point:
It is my understanding that what you see here does happen from time to time, it did with my Aeolus. You can back out the screw even to the frame if you have the proper hex key. Try not to push it in, but that's not a huge problem either, but you'd have to take the baffle off to get the screw. Zach can answer more in depth if necessary.Does anyone know if this is normal? It looks like the gimbal screw is recessing itself into the gimbal.

This reminded me to post this video, which is worth a watch for any ZMF owner:
You'll want to just take a 3mm hex and see if it's tight or not, if not, a little VC3 thread locker will do the job. But yes, just watch the video. Our headphones are modular, which means they are easily repairable, but also means you should do some minor upkeep and checks every once in a while.

LOL! After i posted, I realized that a constricter c. constricter can be seen in bottom left. Please tell Bevin that wasnt intentionalOooo - that's my next "style."
It's early and I want to get things driven better before having a real duke-it-out, but the Susvara has insane detail, clarity and that whole ethereal "floating in the music" effect. VC has great detail and soundstage but is a more intimate listen.Wow, nice record collection
What do you think so far of the Susvara vs the VC ?

Do you recommend putting some thread lock on these, or is it typically unnecessary? Same question with the adjustment screws that hold the rods in place.
