Those Salires look absolutely amazing, even before taking the cables into consideration.

If I had to nitpick though, I do wish the base of the Salire would match with the upper part. The contrast is a bit jarring on some of them.

Yeah I considered adding stabilized bases, but then the price started to get so crazy for the wood that I worried nobody would buy them, but you guys can definitely let me know if there's demand for a $500+ dollar Salire vs the $349.99 price and I will consider it!

Here's some of the actual Salire's that will be available. You also will be able to "add on a matched stabilized Salire" to the headphone if you'd like. I also am including some of @BooUrns matched cables that you'll be able to add on as well. Because of the sleeving and wire used (Palladium, 2K, Verite Silver) they can only be made with XLR and 1/4" ends.

I don't know why, but the purple cable reminds me of those magic eye stereogram photos. I've been starting at it cross-eyed for the last 15 minutes waiting for a different image to pop out.

Because we have so few cases, about 10 right now, they will only be available as an add on on the Stabilized headphone product page. We will have a couple pictures up shortly there. Here's some more pics as well. They will have some very subtle laser etching as well and the bottom will be laser etched to commemorate the drop. Don't worry we're staying out of the way of the beautiful wood!

Yeah, I completely understand the reasoning there. FWIW while I do agree the steeper price might be offputting, I'd personally much rather get the match (or at least some closer color synergy) between the two pieces, even if the price is bumped up.

With my upgraded tubes set, price is approaching 1K usd for the newly acquired Aegis already.....
Might have to save money for a more expensive cable from DHC....Could not justify YET for a 3K usd 4ft cable at this point....Have a 1.2K usd 5 ft cable already to feed all the different hps....with proper adapters.....

I am just a Tubes Sucker at this point....
Tried several SS already. Just doesn't feel it....
