so I'm just never supposed to have enough money saved to retire... cool.
LOL I feel that. It's getting tough to show restrain with all these releases recently. It's between a stabilized set of these or a pair of LCD-5s for me .

You would think higher prices would not eliminate the options to keep weight down so they are beautiful and comfortable. Sadly one of the posts seems to indicate only aluminum not lighter magnesium or black grills will be available. This to me is hugely disappointing if true
This is really the point in those highier prices options.. and this is the reason i decided to go for silkwood VO, probably the lightest VO available.

Is there a limited stock for the VC blackwood? Or is there supply until a certain period has been passed?

Will owners (or former owners) of previous stabilized sets be eligible to purchase any of the new epoxy stabilized sets?

I understand that. What I’m asking is, will people who bought stabilized VC’s be able to buy the new epoxy sets?

So for b-stock headphones, is there a usual wait time or they're ready to ship?

We have a LOT more headphones that are pre-made this year, but there will be a period of time where we have to QC and process the order. I don't have an exact time frame, but we will ship them in order. Once up, I will talk with our team about what is feasible and we will list it on the order page.

@zach915m got an approx weight for the stabilized resin VOs? Sorry previous answer was ambiguous.
Whoops sorry about that! The VO is between 530-570 depending on the metal grille and rod with Mag Chassis. The VC's are between 550-600.

What’s the new headband design?
It's added padding that is segmented to "cradle your head with three pressure spots on each side which are tapered to the general shape of the human head. It's kind of like having a pilot pad and suspension strap at the same time.
Those look amazing
Thank you!!!!!
@zach915m I’m assuming the LTD and stabilized Verite releases will still come with the magnesium chassis. Is this correct?
LTD and Stock models will now be under the same platform with a wood case and the MAG chassis being an extra cost. So for both you'll be able to add the MAG chassis for a cost. The Stabilized and Epoxy headphones will both get Mag by default. Base prices for those will not change.

The Stabilized headphones will cost $3199.99 instead of the previous $2999.99, and the Epoxy Resin will be $3499.99. The packages for those will include the wood case and MAG chassis.
The epoxy Verite's look amazing! Is it a similar technique to the stabilized burls?
The Epoxy sets utilize stabilized wood in Buckeye, Maple or Cherry Burl woods and then are set into a Mould where the epoxy is poured, designed and then set. Then we CNC the Block that comes out of that. The Epoxy sets are especially demanding on our CNC machines as we're doing the Epoxy and wood at the same time, which also makes the finishing process more intense. The result is pretty sweet though!
You would think higher prices would not eliminate the options to keep weight down so they are beautiful and comfortable.
It looks to me like they'll be available, but you'll need to add it for additional cost. That seems fair to me.
Yep!

The base price for each headphone will be the same as it was before, just for those who want to save that extra 34 grams with magnesium or wanting a wood case the cost will be slightly extra. We may or may not have wood cases available for all models at all times, they are handmade by local wood-workers, so it's not a quick process to produce a lot of them.

By yes all the options will be available, just with the MAG Chassis and wood case being an extra cost now for Verite models only, where-as it was always that way with the other models before.
@zach915m Will there be any new stock wood for VC or are you still running Sapele for the near future ? Thanks !
No new stock wood for the VC - we really like the quartersawn sapele we have boards of now - we will likely use it for the foreseeable future.
Those Verite Open with the black and white resin swirls is just gorgeous :)
Thank you!!!
Is there a limited stock for the VC blackwood? Or is there supply until a certain period has been passed?
Right now we should have around 100 Sets we can sell. If I can find more depending on demand we might be able to make more, but 100 is all I can guarantee at the moment.
Will owners (or former owners) of previous stabilized sets be eligible to purchase any of the new epoxy stabilized sets?
No limitations this time around. We will be producing a lot of stabilized sets in the next 6 months, with many more drops, we hope to meet demand better.
I understand that. What I’m asking is, will people who bought stabilized VC’s be able to buy the new epoxy sets?
No limitations! We're going to be producing a lot more of these beautiful sets!
