ZMF Caldera - New Planar Magnetic from ZMF!

Remember to feed your Caldera every night - a healthy dose of doom metal and jazz 🎷
Some acoustic jazz for my Caldera tonight (Polarity - Hoff Ensemble)

Edit: Man, this album is really great with the mids and treble resolution on a Caldera. I loved the roomy staging of the Atrium, but the Caldera really kicks the details into overdrive here.

Edit2: These cheap Chinese-Amazon cables are awfully microphonic, but they'll have to do until my replacement OFC cables arrive, hopefully this weekend.

I have the Caldera, Atrium, Verite open, Verite closed, Auteur classic, Auteur OG and used to own the Atticus and reviewed the Aeolus, so yeah, I think I know what a ZMF sounds like.
That's a lot of ZMFs! Curious what woods, but can save that inquiry for DM.

I've heard the VO, and I had my Auteur upgraded to the classic, so I guess I've heard 6 different models now. Hoping this pic is still in keeping with the spirit of the Caldera thread, but here's my stable of ZMFs, which sadly may decrease by 1 in the name of family harmony. Lol

Yup, SoCal Canjam.
So there is a pair of blackwoods, a macassar, and now a bocote in the wild. Wonder what other unique sets are out there!

@robo24 shared an image of the Blackwood here:

I had to go back and check and when the Envy was on low impedance it was just not right at all. Switched it to medium and it was clear that's what I must have had it on yesterday. The VO on this was the best I've ever heard it.

Here's the blackwood one
