I don't doubt that I would love the sound but I'm just hoping that Zach would bring some one of a kind LTD or stabilized that I might be able to snag at CanJam ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I get that.
Just a Page ago I asked for a specific Design for a future limited run...

Do any of you Caldera owners experience sibilance with any recordings?

I have been prone to hearing sibilance with some recordings when using headphones with somewhat pronounced upper treble frequencies, such as the Meze Elite and Hifiman Susvara. I noticed the Caldera has quite a bit of energy after 12-13 kHz as well, so I was wondering if someone could test out a few tracks for sibilance with the Caldera. Any comparisons with other headphones would be greatly appreciated as well.

Some of the test tracks I've been using are Overpowered by Roísín Murphy, Eat Men Eat by black midi and Tennis by Courting.
Tried all those tracks and didn't hear any. I'm also not hearing it except the slightest little bit in some of my tracks which can have it, though to me that indicates it's in the recording.

Still feeling undecided, I love the look of the KingWood but the weight is concerning. I tried putting a 600g bottle of water on my head and it felt heavy lmao. Though so did the 500g ><. Maybe I'll just hesitate long enough for the KingWood to sellout so the choice is easier :'D
If they're anything like my 613g VO Blackwoods they're surprisingly comfortable and I have neck disc issues. Similar weight LCD-3 is nowhere near as comfortable. It's odd but even though those are 100g more than my Koa VC, they feel more solid and grippy on my head such that I kind of like the sensation more.

I also didn't find the Elite or the Susvara to be at all sibilant.

Thanks for the response! Sounds like the Caldera really could be a killer headphone.

Would you mind testing the tracks with your Arya V2 as well, if I'm not asking too much. I used to own those too but sold them, because the treble was too hot for me.
