I compared the two fairly extensively in my review of the Caldera Closed. The differences were smaller than I expected, but pretty interesting and unexpected.

I don't do well with closed back headphones these days, but I could see owning the CC if I didn't already own a CO. It's a headphone of considerable nuance and subtlety.
