I'm sure this varies based on tube choice, but I actually found it to be a fairly uncolored sounding DAC. It's hard to think about things in these terms for me at this point because, to me, things just sound natural.Does the Lampizator add more sweetness?
With the Sophia Electric, it does lean a bit more towards "sweetness", but I found that with the KR RK 5U4G anniversary tube it sounded more "neutral" (what I also consider more dynamically flat, somewhat like how I remember the sound changing when substituting a GZ34/5AR4 tube in my previous DAC).

There's some sweet stabilized ones, and one particular one that's a sneak peak of a clear resin with gold flake unit. I'll try to get a Pic of it shortly.Zach, which Calderas will you have for sell at NYC CanJam this weekend?

Oh - no Closed for sale yet, but soon-ish! Released is slated likely for late April or may.Any Caldera closed back ready for Sale?

It's the same driver as the open, so specs will be similar, but I'll get the final tuned version on the rig soon and get those out to see it there's any large differences which I don't think there will be. So likely around 96 dB/mW.

Someone should compare Caldera and CC as soon as possible. I’m awfully curious

Got a couple more of a different pair
FWIW, the left and right cups will have better matching wood in production. Those are just prototypes.

Have some new pads been developed for the CC, or are the ones that have been used on the AC, and Bokeh be the initial offerings.FWIW, the left and right cups will have better matching wood in production. Those are just prototypes.
Eagerly awaiting some initial impressions from those at CanJam NY.
