I sure like the look of that wood…….5 days to go….Apologies, busy time of the year for my job.
I got some listening done last night before passing out. The new kid on the block has already made a great first impression. I currently have them at work with me paired with a Mojo 2. I obviously won't get my full review done by Friday, but I'll get an abbreviated version out for potential day one buyers.
I'll take some better pics on a sunny day, but it actually has some very nice chatoyance.I sure like the look of that wood…….5 days to go….
Much appreciated.I'll take some better pics on a sunny day, but it actually has some very nice chatoyance.
It definitely has ZMF DNA and timbre, and there is no mistaking it's tuned by Zach. I don't own an Aeolus anymore, but will be comparing to my Atticus shortly, and will report back on how the bass compares between those two.Thought it might be worth asking to those who've already listened, but is the timbre like a typical ZMF? And does it have the same level of punch and slam as the Aeolus?
Sorry for the little off topic but which pads are you using on your Aeolus?Thought it might be worth asking to those who've already listened, but is the timbre like a typical ZMF? And does it have the same level of punch and slam as the Aeolus?
It is still a full-sized headphone, and honestly feels very similar to my other ZMF closed backs, with just a tad less weight and a slightly slimmer look and feel. I don't imagine anyone will be working out or running with them. That being said, they are a tad lighter and smaller overall, so they will definitely be the easiest ZMF to travel with.@Wes S
How does Bokeh compare to other ZMF closed back headphones in terms of weight (and comfort)? I'm still thinking of Bokeh as a portable headphone.
