I actually can't remember what I sent everyone who is getting BOKEH's this week for evaluation so I am not even sure. There were a couple cherry units and maybe a Camphor speckled in there too.

So my demo unit of bokeh's finally arrived! Now I'm just waiting on the Homage amp I bought recently. When I got this headphone in the mail the box was not the usual shape that would fit a seahorse case and when I opened it up I was really surprised there was a different box containing the bokeh. I guess bokeh's might not be shipped in seahorse cases compared to past releases, but I'll leave that for Zach to explain. I'm sure others might start posting on how it sounds, but I'll be holding off for now. I was also given a note to burn this in, so I'll be taking notes on if anything changes besides getting used to it.
While I won't say how it sounds just yet, I will say that I lost all of last night listening to it and that the first few hours of trying this has left me with alot to think about. The release date is December 8th so I won't have a review ready by then. My goal is to have it done before Christmas. Time to get to work!

That looks like production packaging. It's nice, actually. There should be some (large) 3rd party clamshell cases available that can fit a Bokeh. But making the Seahorse available separately might not be such a bad idea.

We have a premium leatherette headphone case coming. We will eventually make one for the Bokeh size and our larger round headphones.
It'll be available as an add on when done.

This reveal is like the advent calendar of headphone releases. It’s like a little piece of chocolate each day until Christmas. Enjoyable, but never quite enough.
This is gonna be a fun and interesting comparison.
