Come on now buddy, you know you want one!To me it feels like as wonderful as the Atrium is, it just won't fit anywhere in my stable right now. But I may very well be wrong!

The janka hardness of bamboo is 1380, not 4000. Even 1380 is way more than I would have expected.I wonder if there are any bamboo ZMF's. It's supposedly 4000 on the scale and is super light. My bookshelf speakers (Ascend Sierra 1) are made of bamboo and I haven't felt the need to replace them for over 10 years.

However, Heinz baked beans are far better than those sold by Carnegie Hall.To @haasaaroni and @ckhirnigs113: the Atrium is not a lineage or sonic ‘upgrade’ to your Auteur - just as Carnegie Music Hall is not to Heinz Hall (in Pittsburgh). Carnegie and Heinz have different acoustics and presentation which each have complete artistic merit.

@ckhirnigs113 's package arrived last night, so I'm now officially on the ZMF wagon! This is my recliner side setup, perfect for a desk agnostic recliner potato... Thanks Chris, what a gentleman!
Oh, and the Auteurs sound great too. Plenty of heft from the RME...

I’m happy to see them safe and sound in their new home. I know they will be enjoyed. I will miss looking at them on my headphone stand everyday. They are an incredibly handsome set!

David was a pleasure to deal with throughout the transaction. I know he’s excited to have his first ZMF. If he’s anything like me, it won’t be his last!

Hello,
Does anyone happen to know what the configuration was when you went to the Zms homepage to order one before it was taken offline?
Also if the rods and grills were selectable in other materials/colours.
Haven't paid enough attention to remember.

I don't remember either, you could try plugging the headphones url into the Internet Archive. I bet they have a pre change copy...Hello,

@zach915m Any chance you have demoed the newly-created perforated mesh for the Atrium on an Auteur? I’m curious how it might sound. I assume the perforated mesh standard on the Aeolus might be a bit too bright on the Auteur, but Atrium’s new stock mesh might work well. I really like the looks of it too!
