I have the Olivewood AC and just added the RSA B-52. Great pairing.

Such a wonderful amp. One the highlights for me at CanJam Chicago was listening to this. Ray had his MRD-R10, and it's the best I've heard these headphones. I've been keeping a small fantasty of getting myself a Ray Samuels amp since. Either the B-52 or (completely unrelated) the new B-21 (on which the Caldera soudned excellent, as did the K9k). The only problem is, at this point, another amp will have to go to make room. So I am negotiating with myself... 😜

congrats!!

So how much burn in time does AC need to finally settle? I'm on 30hrs right now and i heard there are noticeable changes on upper midrange and treble

Lore is ~200 hrs

Practice, for most of us, is ~200 hrs

so.. ~200 hrs ! :)

I need to take better pics as this shot fails to capture just how beautiful these Atrium Closed are.

Sounds like my Apache (obviously solid-state, but still the “RSA Sound”) will be a great match with a future AC purchase early next year… yay!

I'm a little late to the party, but just received my Atrium Closed in Honduran Rosewood.

I've only had them on my head for an hour or so, but I don't beat around the bush these days, these sound awesome right out of the gate. Maintains the wonderful biocell timbre of the Atrium with a thick, fun low end, very musical and a nice large soundstage. Just phenomenal with some EL34 in Aegis.

Thanks @zach915m , knocking it out of the park with every release.
Very nice unique set.
Here is mine the one and only mango AC 🥭

I have both AO and AC and love them both but even between genres Classical Rock Hip Hop etc etc it totally depends on the track which sounds better. I want to sell one to upgrade to the Caldera but it's going to be a really really tough call which one.

I love all three headphones. My genuine advice is that if you love the pair you now have, stick with it. It’s hard to find the kind of bliss you have.. that’s said, if I’d choose only 2 it would probably be the Caldera and AC, so I have one open and one closed with very complementary presentations. And if I chose 1 it might be the AO. But ask me tomorrow and my answer my change.. 🤷‍♂️🤦🏻😁

Am taking this answer to the bank. Saving up for a Caldera and then am not listening to any other ZMF models! My wallet can't handle it 🤣

I believe I've expressed this same sentiment in the past re: Caldera, AC and AO.

Just want to end up with one open and one closed. It's odd because Marvin Gaye Amy Winehouse sounding better on AC but then Daft Punk on AO. Classical all over the place. Sometimes the AO sounds thin but other times not so much.

Do you have examples of tracks where the AO sounds thin? I'm surprised the AO would ever sound thin, unless maybe the music hits all the "wrong" spots?
