It just blew another fuse, and as far as I know my power has no issues, none of my other equipment seems to be affected and it's connected to a power conditioner (Panamax M5300-PM). The power conditioner reports 120V which is normal in the US and I'm using a Pangea power cable.

The fuse blew instantly after I pressed the power button, so... there might be something bad with my unit. If the fuse blows again, I'll try with a different power cable, in case that's the issue.

I would try a different port on your power conditioner but if its showing that you are at 120V, unfortunately it may be a PSU issue. Instable mains voltage is super duper common across the US, so thats the main reason i recommended checking it as a first step.

This is making me wonder what Customer Service consultation options the manufacturer has made available for rapid troubleshooting purposes.

The throubleshooting in the manual only includes "Checking mains fuses" and they give extra fuses, so... it might not be as unexped to have blown fuses. The fuse blew when powering up the amp, which is usually when the capacitors get charged and the biggest amount of current draw happens, so it might be normal, a bigger fuse might be needed for the US.

I would send it back for inspection in order to prevent damage to the unit.

Your ac is fine at 120v. Actually, a competently designed PSU should be able to deal with +-10% voltage easily.

Sending it back is definitely the right thing to do if you’ve suffered a couple of blown fuses and you don’t appear to have any residential power supply issues and all PSU settings are correct for your location.

Yeah, then there must be something wrong with the PSU. How does the power cord connect between the units, does it click into place?

They should have good customer service as goldensound's hm1 issue got resolved in 24-48hours with a replacement.

@Danmellinger also seemed satisfied with the response. That said, CS is usually handled by the dealer, so YEMV

Blowing a fuse under normal operation is never a good sign, especially for well known brand like Zahl. I hope it gets remedied quick and they can learn what caused it so it doesn't happen in future batches.

may be they shipped with fuse for EU voltage i.e with lesser current spec?

How fast was the response on his...he didn't mention any issues on his unit here and ignored my post.
maybe because you tried to "call him out" in your og post? TBH I have 0 idea how long his response was (I havent asked and didn't pay attention to when he first mentioned messaging about it) but you should probably be a bit less hostile if you actualy want responses from people. Im just assuming English wasn't your first langue cause lots of your comments seem needlessly caustic, but if others aren't responding they may not be giving you the same benefit f the doubt I am FWIW. "abrasiveness" is kind of a hard point of the langue to explain though so im not really sure how to explain where you went wrong though :/

Oh please. You are in the same chat and engaged with him and now you don't know?
