Well, can't find my PK2 so got a pair of PK3 and they sound better than costing half as much. Very nice earbuds, doubt you can do better for under $40.

Has anybody bought this modified pair of Yuin's from this ebay seller? His name is AudioThinker from Hong Kong.

He has changed the cable and added a Mic, so it seems to be the perfect set up for listening to music from a phone!

Just worried about the earpieces being fake or the quality of the workmanship being poor...

Any advice would be appreciated!

The seller has 222 transactions  nearly 100% positive. The only way to know if they are fake is really having a pair of original PK2s.

But if the workmanship is poor, send them back for a refund, since they offer a 14 day returns.

I've seen far risker deals...

Hi All. I took the plunge and bought a pair of PK2's. What I am finding is that the sound is really warm....so warm in fact, I would describe it as dark. There is so little treble that I have to run my iPod Classic in the Treble Booster EQ mode for me to be able to hear the treble. UnEQ'ed, it sounds darker than my HD555, K712 and Audeo Phonak 122. In fact, it has about the same level of treble as my old Shure E3c. This is true whether I run it amped or unamped.

Once EQ'ed though, they sound stunning.

Does that sound about right to you other PK2 users out there? Or have I picked up a lemon?

Appreciate your help.

Yes they do. You already have some amps you can try for yourself.

An amp helps a lot ! Pk1 sounds amazing , easily the best earbud i bought so far

Is the above website reputable? Have never bought anything from there previously but heard of it through some members on this website, but that was in regards to ear tips. Seems cheap enough to just try, again it more than likely is real (Yuin do not have alot of mass market appeal IMO), but the price is super super low.

Did you ever order of that website supplier? Looking for a new pair myself.
