QCD has skins of similar size.

my fav smaller (not smallest) is Graduate.

i typically like the skins that are medium size. i never really like to have the small like you are talking about. when they aren't the active window you don't see them anyways.

But you see...it never gets in the way.

Notice how it doesn't block anything in my pic?
So qcd has that skin too eh? Well now it warrants a look in my book

I've tried just about every mp3 player out there. I used QCD for awhile but Coolplayer with MAD sounded better so I switched to it. I kept trying the new builds of Winamp 3 but they always sounded just like Winamp 2.8 so I gave up on it until the final build. I gave it a whirl and was pleasantly suprised that it seemed to sound better. The MMD3 skin makes it a real winner for staying out of the way. Stays on top on my second monitor. I recently came across Foobar2000 and was really suprised at how great it sounded. Fairly lightweight in terms of resources as well ( with 768 meg of ram thats not a huge deal though) and stays neatly in the taskbar completely out of the way. Glad your likin it Grinch.

It looks like I am the only person here that uses Musicmatch Jukebox.

I tried winamp so I could use APE and or OGG but I got tired or trying to make playlists in winamp. Windows media player just annoys me. Musicmatch is so simple and all my songs are right there handy to grab in the same screen with the player and recorder. It also does a good job of encoding from cd's and a fair job of burning mp3 cd's. I wish it would support APE but then again my Slimx doesn't support APE so I don't have any use for that format.

If I want to seriously listen to music I use my PCDP while I'm at the computer.

To be clear, I'm not "crapping" on you, but I can't stand the way MusicMatch handles it.

not to mention the sound quality.

What is your dock?

Trillian is nice, but I haven't gotten within 100 miles of it since I found it had a memory leak the size of rhode island

its a dock like a mac but for winxp.

(moving icons at the bottom that enlarge when you hover over them)

no memory leak here. you must have been using an old version.

Any Linux Geeks out there?

I use Xmms and Oggs at quality 8 (for my CDs that I rip) or Flacs/shns (for my smashing pumpkin boots)

Not really sure about the different qualities of players since I'm too lazy to look for another one.

I haven't used MP3s for sometime now, since I stopped downloading music so I don't remember what the big plugins are or anything.
